Rafael Quishpe

Rafael Quishpe is a doctoral researcher affiliated with the Transformations of Political Violence (TraCe) project and the University of Giessen (Germany). He also serves as a professor at the Faculty of Creation at Universidad del Rosario and the Master’s program in Peacebuilding at Universidad de los Andes. His research focuses on topics related to the reintegration of ex-combatants, reconciliation processes, and the relationship between music and armed conflict in Colombia. Since 2018, he has been the director of the “Musical Library of Peace” project, which compiles, analyzes, and showcases over 3,000 songs produced by various actors involved in the Colombian armed conflict between 1985 and 2020.
