Michał Kobierecki

Michał Marcin Kobierecki is an associate professor of political science in the Department of Political Theory and Thought, Faculty of International and Political Studies, University of Lodz, Poland. His research centers on international relations, specializing in areas such as sports diplomacy, the intersection of politics and sports, aviation diplomacy, nation branding, and public diplomacy. Author of numerous books, chapters, and scientific articles, including Sports diplomacy. Sports in the Diplomatic Activities of States and Non-State Actors. Principal investigator of the research project Consensual and branding role of sport in diplomatic activities of states and non-state actors funded by the National Science Center, Poland. Member of Polish Olympic Academy.
