Magdalena Rekść

Magdalena Rekść is employed as an associate professor at the Faculty of International and Political Studies (University of Łódź). She is also a scientific secretary at the University of Łódź Science and Research Center “Balkans at the turn of the 20 th /21 st Century”.

Magdalena Rekść is the author of 2 books, co-editor of several edited books, and the author of numerous research papers. She has conducted fieldwork and research in all Balkan states. Her research areas cover Balkan politics, geopolitics in the Balkans, collective memory, collective identity, political myths and stereotypes, peace and conflict studies, and the methodology of social sciences.
