Daniel Oviedo

Researcher categorized as level II by the National Researchers Program of Paraguay. International lecturer. Researcher and editor of the scientific journal of the National Institute of Higher Education (INAES). He is a professor of undergraduate and graduate studies at the National University of Asunción (UNA).

His academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from UNA, a master’s degree in Peace and Development Studies from the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico, and a doctorate with “medal of honor for merit” in Humanities from the Metropolitan Autonomous University of Iztapalapa, Mexico. Additionally, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Institute of Peace and Conflicts of the University of Granada, Spain.

He specialized in Human Rights (University of Castilla-La Mancha) and in Science, Technology, and Society (Conacyt, Paraguay).

He has authored several books (“Logic: Organon,” “I only know that I know nothing,” “Professional and Social Ethics,” “Management towards Human Development,” “Traffic Education,” among others) and has published articles and research in the United States, Costa Rica, Spain, Mexico, Paraguay, and other countries. He is a collaborator and member of editorial teams of journals from various countries.

His main research lines are: environmental ethics, Philosophy for Peace, and traffic eco-education.
