Building Bridges from Łódź towards a Peaceful Future
Scheduled from May 5th to May 10th in Łódź, Poland, stands as a globally significant event. Organized by the Unamos Culturas Foundation and co-organized by the Faculty of Administration of the University of Łódź, this forum serves as a platform for reflection and exchange of ideas among experts, academics, and leaders from around the world.
Łódź’s rich and diverse history, marked by challenges and difficult moments, provides a relevant context for this event. The city, from its past to its present as one of Poland’s most important, serves as a backdrop for discussing fundamental themes of peace and reconciliation.
The forum’s program includes a variety of activities, from keynote lectures to thematic panels and artistic exhibitions, all centered on the theme of peace and its promotion in different areas such as ecology, economy, education, technology, and transitional justice.
Participation in this event provides a unique opportunity to contribute to building a more peaceful future while fostering intercultural collaboration and dialogue. The closing gala, scheduled for May 10th, represents the culmination of a week dedicated to reflection and commitment to peace.
Ultimately, the Łódź Peace Forum 2024 aspires to be a catalyst for positive action and change, promoting values of tolerance, understanding, and cooperation in an increasingly interconnected and diverse world.
